In June 2024, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and QED Investors jointly released the Global FinTech: Prudence, Profits, and Growth (hereinafter referred to as "the Report"). The Report points out that due to the emergence of disruptive technologies and the existence of billions of potential users worldwide who still lack or have insufficient access to financial services, FinTech holds tremendous growth potential. The Report suggests that, after the financing winter passes, FinTech companies must avoid increasing risks to the financial system. Both prudence and profitability will be equally important, and the path to growth will become more challenging. The Report identifies several trends currently shaping the FinTech landscape and offers recommendations for the future development of the FinTech ecosystem.
