Editor's Note: In March 2025, the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) Artificial Intelligence Risk Working Group released the “Charting the Course of Al Risk: Practical Considerations for Financial Services Leaders” report , which provides financial institutions with a systematic framework and risk management guidelines for the application of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) by incorporating GenAI into the analysis of the entire financial services chain.

The Report predicts potential problems and uncertainties in the implementation of AI, analyzes the core challenges of AI applications in the financial field, and evaluates the short-, medium- and long-term impacts of GenAI in real scenarios. By designing a list of issues, it provides strategic guidance and development suggestions for financial institutions to accurately identify and manage AI risks, achieve a dynamic balance between technological innovation and risk management, and promote the intelligent transformation of the financial industry.
